Stories & thoughts behind the artwork
This interpretation of an Australian waterfall, uses the contrasting orange of the earth with a delicate blue for the sky and water, to focus the viewers attention to the middle of the canvas.
Although not perfectly symmetrical, the concept of symmetry was at the forefront of my thoughts as I sought to make the waterfall a focal point of this artwork.
